After the Bologna Convention in 1999, the academic structure of European universities was reformed. Today the Convention was signed by 49 countries, including Ukraine. The Bologna process aims at building a single European educational space, which simplifies recognition of educational qualifications obtained in other countries.
The adoption of the basic principles of the Bologna Convention has made European education very popular among foreign students wishing to continue their education and gain qualifications that is recognized by employers around the world.
